For the second time in less than a year Chief Executive of Sheffield City Council John Mothersole is staging a Twitter takeover to speak directly to Sheffielders to answer their questions and address their concerns.
He will be manning the council’s Customer Service Twitter channel @SCC_Help on Friday 27 July 2018 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Last October he answered calls directly from Sheffield residents during National Customer Service Week and took 51 enquiries.
He says that he so it enjoyed it that he eagerly looks forward to joining the local Twitterati again this month.
Mr Mothersole will be taking charge of the council’s customer service Twitter account on Friday 27 July 2018, between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm, and is looking forward to hearing from anyone who has a question about the council or its services.
Mr Mothersole said: “Meeting and talking with so many Sheffielders via Twitter last year was something that I really enjoyed. Through this channel I responded to 51 questions, much more than I could have through any other method, I think, and that is why I look forward to this month’s Twitter takeover again.
“No question is off-limits. I want to hear from people who have legitimate queries and concerns and I will do my best to provide answers to each and solutions to issues.
“I would encourage anyone who is a follower of @SCC_Help to tweet me. If you’re not then now is the time to join the account and get the latest information from the council. I’m looking forward to hearing a range of views on 27 July.”
